How would you compare the quality of the American and of the European health systems?

- which European system? every country is different.
- Um what is Disney World Orlando Florida compared to the Country Fair like. Till it comes time to pay the bill. Then what is on a sinking boat at sea with two people and only 1/2 a life preserver? Compared to a 747 with all the people looking out the windows at the two people in the ocean below fighting over some kind of orange thing.
- I would have to say that the European health system is far better than America's. Sure, they do pay a 16-19% tax for it but everyone is covered regardless of the problem. They also don't need to constantly wait for results or wait for an available time to see a doctor, they go to the nearest Dr. and get medical attention, if that one can't see them they just go to another one. Europeans don't have to wait to see if the medical treatment is covered by their insurance, they pay their co-pay and are treated. America needs to take a look and wake up. We have people who can't afford to get a yearly check-up, or seek some type of emergency service because you have to take out a 2nd or 3rd mortgage on your home due to the fact that it costs way too much for care. Sorry for the rant, but I've lived in Europe for over 5 years and seen first hand how much happier and healthier they are over there because they receive the care they need and desire.
