How can your community prepare health care workers and the community at large for a mass casulty event?

1. you cannot be prepared for mass casualty. there is a finite number of rescue , law enforcement, and medical staffs available for this type of an emergency. The question is not how you prepare the community, but rather how you prepare yourself and your family for a mass casualty event. By preparing yourself, you free up the emergency services for the worst of the worst. Any police officer or emergency tech will tell you to provide for your own safety and protection because they cannot provide it for you in any emergency.
